"Big Stuff"

eyewash at Supreme Trading
2006-06-01

Williamsburg's own "Mr. Big" Larry Walczak and his eyewash gallery have teamed up with Supreme Trading to kick off the summer season with "Big Stuff" a peak at installation and performance art by some of the neighborhoods biggest stars. Huge things are anticipated from Thomas Broadbent who has regaled us with his oversized pants and back packs. Big laughs will be had from the poetic rantings of art slacker David Kramer, while the bitingly cynical critiques of William Powhida might leave teeth marks and large bruises around your ankles and calves. Mark Esper will present a grand example of his gizzmology, and Lisa Levy might psychoanalyze audience members to get at the heart of their biggest problems. Gigantic surprises are expected from other participating artists including Peter Barrett, Eung Ho Park, Bob Seng and Lisa Hein. Massive musical performances will be presented by assemblage instrument sculptor Ken Butler and the humongous gay heavy metal band Pink Stëël.
